Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for programming of control systems, including the management of potential software vendors
  • Responsible for developing BBP solutions to meet clients’ control requirements
  • Design, test and troubleshooting of Automation system, Controls and Electrical systems of HVAC plants
  • Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required
  • Prepare system-level HVAC controls design specification for the new systems to achieve the required performance

Qualifications 

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in PLC programming (preferably Siemens TIA/Simatic Manager)
  • Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols
  • Well versed with HVAC systems and knowledge on HVAC(ACMV) controls and Start- Delta and Auto Transformers starters
  • Specialist qualification in refrigeration, Air-conditioning and Energy Management will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with Wonderware System Platform will a strong plus
  • Sound knowledge in the HVAC industry and in control engineering equipment/instruments such as VSD, Flow meters, Power meters, temperature sensors will be preferred
  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with maintenance contractors, review checklists and ensure customer D.O sign-off within the required time.
  • Support Data analytics team with ongoing improvement for automation of data gathering, analysis and reporting, including fault detection and root cause identification
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive energy conservation action plan with ongoing efforts and include short term and long-term goals
  • Prepare operational and maintenance schedule as per the MIS
  • Work closely and collaborate with the customer support team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify potential upselling opportunities at client site during regular or ad-hoc maintenance work
  • Remote monitoring of the system operation and performance and to contact the respective site in any emergency.
  • Familiarization of Refrigeration System Chillers & Freezers, Compressors, Cooling towers, FCUs, Cold room, ETV doors and related controllers.
  • Work with internal teams and deliver the work according to the planned schedule.
  • Collate onsite operating parameters such as cold room and space temperature and verify using SCADA.

Qualifications

Main Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor complex clients’ systems

  • Responsible for technical support for complex systems and problems, ensuring performance of the asset (client) is maintained throughout the course of the contract
  • Collate and evaluate statistical data related to the performance of the assets
  • Support Data analytics team with ongoing improvement on automation of data gathering, analysis and reporting, including fault detection and root cause identification

Manage responses to emergency situations :

  • Facilitate responses to emergency situations and recovery activities
  • Evaluate and provide fast resolution to critical field performance issues
  • Visit sites to diagnose BBP operational issues and develop resolution plans for complex cases that cannot be easily resolved
  • Review and approve recommended repair works for major equipment and system failures
  • Check performance deviations and define root cause for any performance issues and to escalate to either Engineering or Performance team , as needed.

Provide oversight on maintenance work

  • Responsible for the planning of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure BBP equipment and client systems are fully functional and in optimal operating condition, preserving BBP energy savings
  • Optimise maintenance plans and schedules for inspection, testing, repair and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems to minimise downtime and costs
  • Provide technical guidance on equipment and systems maintenance
  • Endorse resourcing requirements to achieve operational state in accordance with BBP expectations
  • Drive internal and subcontractor compliance with the health & safety standards and practices

Support Customer Support/Business Development teams in creating further business opportunities

  • Foster close collaboration with Customer support team to ensure client performance and satisfaction
  • Advise customer support team to correct inefficient uses of energy, both technically and procedurally and to support with data justification
  • Identify potential upselling opportunities at client site during regular or ad-hoc maintenance

Organise and develop the team

  • Coach and train Central Maintenance engineers
  • Drive talent recruitment and development for the department in alignment with organisational strategy

Qualifications 

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Controls, Energy or Environmental Engineering.
  • Possess people management experience
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an Energy or Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage
  • Professional Energy/Sustainability related certification a plus
  • Qualification in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning and Energy Management will be an added advantage

Purpose of The Role

Responsible to identify the chiller performance improvement and execute the recommendation to reach the design condition as close as possible and prepare related documentation and presentation with justifications.

The role will also involve for pressure switch calibration and fine tuning of the system efficiency when major changes of load pattern or operation during the contract period.

Main Accountabilities

  • Responsible for chiller pressure switch calibration, chiller performance study and related data collection and improvement work.
  • Fine tuning/commissioning of the system and reach the target performance.
  • Identify the base condition of existing chiller operation and prepare the recommendations to reach the design/efficient condition with justifications.
  • Complete understanding and knowledge of major brand chillers like Trane, York, Carrier and Daikin systems
  • Coordinate contractors for chiller performance improvement work based on recommendations.
  • Evaluate and provide fast resolution to field if any operational impact during chiller enhancement work and fine tuning.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services)
  • Chiller technical knowledge and maintenance experience
  • Specialist qualification in HVAC and Mechanical/electrical/automation and Energy Management will be an added advantage
  • Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification would be an added advantage
  • 5+ years of prior work experience in chiller technical and maintenance support to commercial and industrial customer

Purpose of the role

The position is responsible for conducting Level 1 to Level 3 Energy Audit of HVAC systems, identifying and qualifying energy efficiency opportunities in new and existing buildings through the improvement of HVAC systems. The Energy Sustainability Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and evaluation of the opportunity to reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency of the HVAC systems.

Main Accountabilities

  1. Support Sales in the pre-qualification and conduct desktop analysis of the client opportunity
  2. Plan, organize, lead internal team to implement site measurement plans and deploy instruments to measure parameters such as water flow rate, water pressure, energy consumption, temperatures, etc.
  3. Perform on-site energy efficiency audits to identify Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) on HVAC systems (Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units)
  4. Perform conceptual design, analysis, preparing BOQ of the ECM and present the proposal to sales and management
  5. Coordinate, lead and inspect on-site work and installations performed by suppliers, consultants, and contractors during on-site survey
  6. Ensure a clear documentation for proper project hand-over with the Project Team and supports the Project Team during kick-off phase

Qualifications

  1. Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Controls, Energy or Environmental Engineering
  2. 2-5 years’ experience in an Energy or Mechanical Engineering position.
  3. Professional Energy/Sustainability related certification such as Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM), BCA Energy Auditor, or BCA Green Mark Accredited Professional is a plus
  4. Specialist qualification in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning and Energy Management will be an added advantage
  5. Strong knowledge of energy efficiency methodology of HVAC system (Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units)

Main Responsibilities

Contribute to business and project development

  • Assist with business development initiatives
  • Lead and assist in the development of proposals and reports
  • Coordinate with the Sales and the internal Operations team on the audit schedules and plans, monitor resources and audit executions
  • As the subject matter expert, to direct the team of audit engineers and technicians to develop and implement energy audits that include facility site visits and audits to qualify, identify and quantify simple to complex energy savings measures and opportunities

Drive energy savings proposals with accurate estimation of savings and costings

  • Lead the audit for complex buildings and identify energy efficiency opportunities in HVAC systems together with the Audit engineers.
  • Identify savings opportunities in Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps and Air Handling units to ensure the equipment operates close to design conditions.
  • Identify the opportunities in terms of optimum control and operations
  • Independently build technically sound templates and perform accurate energy efficiency calculations to automate energy savings measurements and calculations
  • Review and understand solutions created by internal audit team, identify shortcomings and propose solutions
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of Audit reports produced by the team, assume responsibility for quality and accuracy of work.

Manage the team and improve the Audit function

  • Lead, manage and oversee the Audit engineering team
  • Mentor and develop Audit engineers
  • Build and improve energy efficiency models using industry standard software and to add value to the internal BBP know-how
  • Cooperate with senior stakeholders to improve Audit calculations through automation and digitalization
  • Constantly improve the Audit process to ensure accuracy and speed across countries and markets 

Qualifications 

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.Master’s degree is preferred
  • Energy Management certifications such as BCA energy Auditor and QUESS are preferred.
  • 10 years of Engineering experience with Energy Conservation including audit, implementation and verification experience in developing and supporting performance-based projects and/or energy services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of direct reports, including establishing development plans, managing and tracking objectives and deliverables and providing feedback
  • Experience in controls and operation of HVAC systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with building simulation software
  • Experience in performing energy load profile analysis and the use of energy benchmarking and simulation tools
  • Experience in Operation and Maintenance, Testing and Commissioning of HVAC systems is highly desirable.

Drive commissioning activity and energy savings achievement at project completion

  • Coordinate with Project Manager regarding performance and commissioning work at client site
  • Responsible for the commissioning process
  • Ensure BBP’s energy efficiency system performs to expectations after installation and testing in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with the Project Management team regarding the scope and the timing of the work, and plan the improvement / rectification work to be conducted to reach 100% savings or more
  • Anticipate issues and prepare mitigation measures as required to achieve goals
  • Finetune the BBP installed system without disruptions to clients operations
  • Manage outsourced contractors of chillers and ACMV systems

Subject Matter Expert within BBP

  • Maintain system knowledge of the chiller, pumps and controls, TAC chiller systems
  • Analyse chiller data and performance to ensure the reliability and consistent COP (kW/RT)
  • Perform overhauling and annual shutdown of various brands of Chillers as part of regular/predictive maintenance and improving chiller efficiency
  • Conduct detailed assessment and identify the root cause of poor performance in chillers and suggest potential rectifications to resolve the issue
  • Keep Central Maintenance, Customer Support teams and other relevant stakeholders informed on outstanding client issues and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, and/or repairs
  • Be the representative for the escalation of clients’ issues

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3-6 years’ experience in Servicing of Air Conditioning Systems and Chillers
  • Qualification in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning and Energy Management will be an added advantage
