BBP participated in the panel session titled, “A bright future for Intelligent Building Proactive Energy Management (IBPEM)” at Smart Buildings Conference 2021 jointly organised by RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and REDAS (Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore) on 2 November 2021.
Focusing on proactive energy management solutions, BBP shared with the audience on how its $0 upfront cost business model has been able to gain acceptance among many blue-chip and Fortune 500 businesses, of which many have since achieved significant energy and cost savings with BBP.
Expressing its confidence in how Singapore can drive decarbonisation products and innovation across Southeast Asia, BBP emphasized the need for building owners to look into active strategies to drive energy optimization as well as consider the usage of renewable energy in the long run. The panel session was moderated by Daryl Oo, Director, Sales & Account Management (Smart City), Surbana Jurong, joined in by Dr. Georgios Kapogiannis, Head of Thought Leadership, Glodon, and Bailing Zhang, Head of Smart Building, Envision Digital.
